Green Raisins
History:
Raisins are essentially dried grapes. Green raisins are made from grapes with white flesh and green skin, which darken after drying and turn into a sweet snack with small seeds. The majority of raisin production occurs in Turkey, the United States, and Iran.
Benefits of Green Raisins:
Green raisins are one of the dried fruits that offer numerous benefits for bone strength. This dried fruit, made from grapes, is known as a rich source of calcium, vitamin D, and phosphorus, making it highly popular.
Recently, the benefits of green raisins for overcoming joint pain have been proven, encouraging middle-aged individuals to use them to prevent bone and joint degeneration. Raisins are rich in antioxidants and help repair cellular damage. They are also vital for cleansing cells and improving blood circulation in the body, significantly boosting the immune system.
Green raisins contain calcium, vitamin C, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin E, vitamin B6, and other members of the vitamin B family.
Storage Instructions:
Raisins should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place. Avoid storing them in humid areas, as mold may grow. If you don’t have enough space in the refrigerator, you can use dark cabinets, but avoid placing them near the stove. If stored at room temperature, raisins can last up to six months. If stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator, their shelf life can be extended to one year.
Another issue is the possibility of insect infestation, so ensure there are no insect eggs or insects before storage. Long-term storage of raisins in open air or even in the refrigerator can cause them to harden. Therefore, it is recommended to store raisins in airtight containers. In the refrigerator, the sugar in raisins may crystallize over time, leading to hardened raisins.
Hardening or drying of raisins does not mean they are spoiled, but if you notice any changes in taste, smell, or color, it is better to discard them.
Usage and Dosage:
The recommended daily intake of green raisins is 25 grams.
