With a legacy stretching back over 120 years, Badiee Saffron is one of the oldest and most established names in the saffron industry. Its history and expertise have been passed down through generations, shaping the company’s identity to this day.
In earlier times, agriculture was not mechanized as it is today and required great effort and hard work. The farmlands were small in size, and all family members worked together on the land.
Charmes (Chermeh), literally meaning “white horse,” is considered one of the oldest villages in South Khorasan and in Iran. These areas were among the very first and most ancient lands used for saffron cultivation.

From an early age, Ahmad Badiee worked alongside his father on the family’s saffron fields. Continuing his father’s legacy, he later rented an office in Mashhad and specialized in buying and selling saffron.
Up to that time, the Badiee name and its heritage were well known locally, but entering international markets required the registration of a formal brand and the design of packaging in various sizes.

A combination of modern thinking and passion, alongside experience and longstanding heritage, laid the foundations for Badiee Saffron’s export activities. The first steps were taken toward negotiation and exporting this national treasure.
It has been over 30 years since the first saffron exports. Today, “Badiee Agricultural Production Saffron Company” has become one of the largest exporters of saffron.
